  • Understanding your child’s classification and the supports needed to accommodate child’s learning style in the classroom. Classifications are as follows:

    • ADHD/ADD/Other Health Impairment

      • Learning Disability

      • Speech and Language Impairment

      • Specific Learning Disability

        • Dyslexia

        • Dysgraphia

      • Autism Spectrum Disorder

      • Traumatic Brain Injury

      • Medical Condition and receives a 504

      • Physical Impairment

      • Emotional Behavioral Disorders (Conduct Disorder; Oppositional Defiance)

      • Multiple Diagnosis, Mental Health Diagnosis

      • Traumatic Brain disorder

      • Hearing and Visual Impairment

      • Intellectual Disability

      • Orthopedic Impairment

    We can also assist with the following:

    • Assist with annual meeting preparation

    • Discuss different ways to add and remove services from your child’s special education program (Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy; Counseling)

    • Assist with re-classification support

    • Review qualifications for ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) services

    • Discuss qualifications for specialized bussing, paraprofessional support, and modified testing.

    • Behavioral Intervention Planning (BIP)

    • Provide CSE/DOE contact for your child’s school

    • Discuss your child’s IESP and goals

    • Discuss different strategies that may support child’s learning according to their profile

    • Discuss the difference between a 504 and an IESP and determining which pathway is appropriate for your child

    • Discuss when it’s time to seek an Independent/Neuropsychiatric Evaluation.

    • Review the skills your child is supposed to master by the end of the school year as per Common Core Standards
