Assist with annual meeting preparation
Discuss different ways to add and remove services from your child’s special education program (Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy; Counseling)
Assist with re-classification support
Review qualifications for ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) services
Discuss qualifications for specialized bussing, paraprofessional support, and modified testing.
Behavioral Intervention Planning (BIP)
Provide CSE/DOE contact for your child’s school
Discuss your child’s IESP and goals
Discuss different strategies that may support child’s learning according to their profile
Discuss the difference between a 504 and an IESP and determining which pathway is appropriate for your child
Discuss when it’s time to seek an Independent/Neuropsychiatric Evaluation.
Review the skills your child is supposed to master by the end of the school year as per Common Core Standards
