CONNIE EUGENE
Founder / CEO
Connie received her Master of Arts in Special Education from Long Island University in 2011. Since then, she has worked as an Elementary Special Education Teacher, Instructional Coach, and Special Education Coordinator at Uncommon Schools Charter School, as well as a Special Education Coordinator for a specialized agency. She was hired as an Adjunct Professor for graduate studies, teaching a Strategies for Diverse Learners course at Long Island University. Connie also served as Director of Student Services for an enhanced-rate SETSS agency and currently provides SETSS and Early Intervention services to infants, toddlers, and school-age students, in addition to working as an Early Intervention Evaluator.
As a Special Education Teacher, Connie spent most of her time evaluating instructional practices in academic content areas to develop various teaching techniques and styles that address the needs of linguistically and culturally diverse students with classifications.
As a Special Education Coordinator, she served as the primary liaison between the district, Committee on Special Education, and school personnel, actively participating in all aspects of IEP reviews (including annuals, triennials, and initials) and using assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices.
In her role as a Special Education Instructional Coach and Adjunct Professor at LIU, she has coached and managed teachers within the special education department, helping them refine lesson plans and create effective classroom activities tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Connie brings a wealth of expertise and compassion to her role as a special education evaluator for early intervention services, skillfully identifying and addressing the unique needs of young children to support their development and success. As an Early Intervention Evaluator, she conducts developmental screenings and assessments to identify children’s strengths and areas of need, provides resources and referrals to families for additional support, and offers recommendations for interventions, accommodations, and services based on assessment results.
As the Director of Student Services for a special education agency, Connie leads with dedication and insight, ensuring that students receive the individualized support and resources they need to thrive academically and socially. She was instrumental in overseeing and managing a comprehensive range of student support programs to enhance student experience, collaborating with families, school coordinators, and CSE coordinators to ensure students' well-being and success, developing and evaluating policies and procedures related to student services, and collecting and analyzing data on student outcomes.
Berleen Joseph
Case Management Director / Education Specialist
Berleen Joseph is a graduate from Hunter college, with a B.A. in English, and has additionally received a master's degree in Special Education at the Long Island University Brooklyn Campus, with a concentration of Teaching Urban Students with Disabilities in Grades 1-6.
Berleen has worked in special education for 4 years, beginning her career in a fully specialized private institution, where she received Orton-Gillingham training. She uses this multisensory approach to close gaps in decoding and fluency.
Throughout her course of teaching , she has learned various strategies in reading and literacy that she has applied to her teaching, resulting in improved comprehension, in-depth and cohesive writing, and increased accuracy & rate when reading.
Additionally, Berleen can provide math support to help students make connections between concrete, pictoral and abstract concepts. Berleen believes that family involvement is essential in pushing students towards academic success, and strives to provide support and partner with student families to foster positive learning environments.

Kathleen Johnson
Instructional Coach / Education Specialist
Kathleen Johnson is a graduate of Canisius College with a B.A in Elementary Education and Spanish. Additionally, Kathleen received her masters in Special Education from Saint Joseph’s University in 2016.
Kathleen worked as a classroom teacher for 4 years in inclusive classrooms. Kathleen taught 3rd grade in Philadelphia for 2 years. Kathleen taught 4th grade in Brooklyn for 2 years within those years she had the highest Math data in the network. On average her scholars scored over 80 percent proficiency. Kathleen is now attending school at Hunters’ Silberman School of Social Work to get her Masters in Social Work.
Throughout her time in the classroom, Kathleen was able to successfully teach Math to students with various learning needs by breaking down concepts and ideas. She was able to help students access content more easily. Kathleen believes that Reading is a necessity for student success. Kathleen is able to push student’s thought process by asking questions that require deep and critical thinking.
Dylan Robin
Instructional Coach / Education Specialist
Dylan Robin is a graduate of SUNY University at Albany with a B.A in Psychology and Women’s Gender and Sexuality. She is attending Tour College towards her masters in Special Education.
Dylan worked as a classroom teacher for three years in inclusion classrooms. Dylan taught 1st grade in Brooklyn for two years where she had the third highest STEP data in her network. On average her scholars scored over 80 percent proficiency in both ELA and Math. She currently teaches 4th-grade math as a founding teacher. Dylan is proficient in bringing students to mastery for state exams, Interim Assessments, STEP Assessments, and well as Fountas & Pinnell assessments.
Throughout her time in the classroom, Dylan was able to successfully teach Math to students with various learning needs by breaking down concepts and ideas. She has coached and managed teachers in the math on how to refine lesson plans and develop more effective classroom activities. Dylan can push a student’s thought process by asking questions that require deep and critical thinking.
Simbisai Kahari
Brand Ambassador
Simbisai Kahari is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University located in Richmond, Virginia. While obtaining his B.F.A in Communication Arts Simbisai worked and educated at-risk youth at Elk Hill Farms and assisted in running and producing work out of the Hill Gallery.
Simbisai Kahari has worked with youth, painted, illustrated for over ten years and designed (Graphic & Web Design) for the past two years. Simbisai currently residences in DC teaching robotics and technology.
